The Science Behind It: A study published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine found that a one-hour sound meditation significantly reduced tension, pain, anger, fatigue, anxiety, and depression while enhancing spiritual well-being. Instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and chimes were used, with participants experiencing profound benefits regardless of prior sound meditation experience. (Psychology Today, 2019)
Step into a space of deep healing and connection. We can’t wait to share this beautiful experience with you.
About the Facilitator:
Merry has been practicing yoga since moving to California from the East Coast in 2003. What began as a way to support her marathon running grew into a deep appreciation for yogic practices and philosophy. She is highly trained and certified as a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, E-RYT 500 teacher, and YACEP education provider.
“Yoga has expanded my awareness; I live from a more heart-centered place than ever before. It is an incredible honor to share it.”
Of the many yogic paths, she feels most connected to Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of devotion) —leading Kirtan, training others, and founding The Soul of Yoga’s monthly Kirtan Club in 2018. Join her the 1st Saturday of each month!
She is also a Direct Divine Light Healer, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Metaphysician, and a gifted Sound Healer, offering a compassionate space for students to explore the connection of mind, body, and spirit. She shares her gifts in public classes and private 1:1 sessions.
