We collect as little as we can.

Browsing

You can browse without an account. We don't use advertising trackers or cookies for browsing. Events you save with the heart are kept in your own browser; if you sign in, they are kept on your account instead so you can see them on any device.

How we count visits

To know how many people use the site and what they find useful — and to show organizers and advertisers how listings perform — we count visits ourselves, without cookies and without any outside analytics or advertising company. Your browser keeps a random id in its own storage (not a cookie) so a return visit isn't counted as a new person, and we record the pages you view, how long they're on screen, which listings you see, open, save or click through to, what you search for, the site that sent you, your kind of device and browser, and roughly where you are (country, state and nearest city, worked out from your connection; we don't keep your IP address). None of this is tied to your name or email, even if you're signed in. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or blocks storage, it keeps no id and we count it only by a code that changes every day. Detailed records are deleted after about 13 months.

Accounts

Anyone can sign in with an email address — event-goers to keep their saved list, practitioners and organizers to manage their listings; we send a one-time link and set a session cookie. We store your email, an optional display name, the events you save and the articles you bookmark, the listings you claim or add, and — if you buy a featured placement — a Stripe customer reference. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.

Listings

Event listings are gathered from public web pages and platforms. Organizer contact emails that appear in a public feed are stored privately and used only to verify claims; they are never displayed. Images from original listings are stored privately and published only when the organizer activates them.

Mailing list

If you sign up for our emails, we keep your address and the city you signed up from (the page's city, or roughly where you are), so we can send you what's on near you. You're only on the list after you confirm from the email we send. The list is kept with Resend, the service that sends our email. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and we never sell or share the list.

Reports

If you report a listing and include your email, we use it only to follow up on that report.
