Sound Meditation

Settle into deep rest as you recline in supported Savasana with bolsters, blankets, and an eye pillow, or choose a restorative posture that feels right for your body. As waves of sound wash over you from gongs, bowls, chimes, and other overtone omitting instruments your brain naturally shifts from the busy beta state (active thinking) into a slower alpha state (calm, creative flow), and often even into the deep theta and delta states associated with dream, intuition, and profound rest. This process, called brainwave entrainment, gently synchronizes your mind and body with the healing frequencies of sound. As your nervous system drops into the parasympathetic state — the body’s "rest, digest, and restore" mode — layers of tension begin to dissolve. Sound meditation is more than listening; it's an invitation to be held, to release effort, and to let vibration carry you into stillness, renewal, and deep inner harmony.
