Restorative Yoga + Sound Healing This class blends the profound stillness of Restorative Yoga with the vibrational healing of Sound Therapy for a deeply nourishing experience. Inspired by the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar and expanded through Judith Hanson Lasater’s work Relax and Renew, Restorative Yoga invites you to soften, release, and rest without guilt, pressure, or justification. Supported by bolsters, blankets, blocks, straps, rice bags, eye pillows, soft lighting, and calming music, the body is cradled into longer holds where tension unwinds and the nervous system settles. As the body drops into this state of conscious rest, Sound Healing amplifies the experience. The resonance of instruments, mantras, and intentional silence travels through the body’s water-rich tissues with remarkable ease, creating a gentle internal recalibration. Sound waves help quiet the mind, soothe emotional heaviness, and dissolve layers of stress, anxiety, worry, and overthinking. Together, Restorative Yoga and Sound Healing create a sanctuary of deep ease — a space where you can breathe fully, release what you’ve been holding, and reconnect with a sense of spaciousness, balance, and inner peace.
