ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:

KSW is a passionate yoga teacher and Lighthouse co-owner who has been sharing the transformative benefits of yoga since 2015. Her teaching centers on creating a welcoming, supportive space where students of all backgrounds and experience levels can explore movement, breath, and mindful connection with their bodies. KSW's classes draw from hatha, vinyasa, and restorative traditions, blending strength, mobility, relaxation, and intentional breathing to support overall full-body wellness. Beyond the mat, KSW holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and is also an Integrated Health Coach, giving her a holistic perspective on wellbeing that extends far beyond physical movement.

Tess Hua is a Lighthouse co-owner who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Tess' style of teaching is inspired by the modalities of all of the incredible yogis that they have learned from throughout years of practice, including vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, and pilates. They think of themselves as a guide rather than a teacher, believing that yoga practitioners are their own teachers, understanding their body's capabilities better than anybody else. Tess offers an experience for those wanting to step outside of the decorum of typical yoga classes, encouraging questions, concerns and laughter. While being respectful to the origins of yoga, they try to create an accessible and relatable space by using contemporary language and music.

Xyloh Yugen's background includes undergraduate degrees in psychology and philosophy, a Masters degree in yoga therapy, and additional graduate schooling in clinical mental health counseling. Their published thesis entails yogic perspectives for healing through complex trauma. They are an E-RYT 500 and they facilitate 200hr trauma-informed YTTs in Peru each year along with their service pup, Potato. Yoga serves for them as a solace through everyday life and a continuous invitation to step back home. With their professional work as a therapist and yoga facilitator, xyloh aims to bridge objective and subjective realms to explore spaces between, where wisdom can be found in opposition. Darkness provides a canvas for stars after all. As a neurodivergent, nonbinary trans individual, xyloh aims to provide inclusive and supportive space for others to show up as they are.

Rachel Walsh has been teaching yoga full-time since 2004, with over 60,000 hours of experience and advanced certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and trauma-informed care. She is an 800-hr RYT, 500hr+ E-RYT and YACEP(Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider), originally trained by Yogacharya Eric Wal. Her classes blend tradition with creativity—offering grounded, accessible practices for real people navigating real life. No cookie-cutter flows. No pressure to perform. Just accessible, empowering yoga for every kind of human. Expect strength and softness, clear cueing, and space to be exactly as you are.
