Finding Refuge
373 Agren Road, Castle Rock, WA 98611 Map ↗
The Buddha’s path offers us refuge in the midst of the challenges of life. In our practice together, we will be developing the Five Spiritual Faculties – saddhā (confidence or faith), viriya (sustained energy), sati (presence, awareness), samadhi (collectedness of heart and mind), and paññā (wisdom and clear seeing) to refresh or rediscover the stability, confidence and joy that is part of our true nature.
Our practice will be held in Noble Silence, with periods of guided meditation, and times of silent practice. There will be daily Dharma reflections, and some opportunity for Q&A. The framework for the retreat will also include chanting, and simple Buddhist ritual. This retreat is suitable for both beginning and experienced students.
With Ayya Ānandabodhī Bhikkhuni. The fee is tiered — $830, $630 or $530 — plus dana (offerings) to the teachers. It's full; Cloud Mountain keeps a waitlist. Check-in opens at 1 pm on the first day, and the retreat ends by 11 am on the last.
