Awareness and Wisdom Retreat
373 Agren Road, Castle Rock, WA 98611 Map ↗
This silent retreat invites participants into the mindfulness tradition of Sayadaw U Tejaniya, rooted in the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. Central to this approach is a gentle, curious attention to the mind itself, noticing its qualities, tendencies, and the ever-present capacity for awareness. Rather than striving or controlling, the practice emphasizes ease in the body and mind while sustaining an unbroken thread of awareness through all daily activities.
After an initial period of guided structure, retreatants will transition into self-directed practice, finding their own rhythm of sitting and walking meditation. Support throughout the retreat includes morning instructions, Dhamma talks, Q & A sessions, and small group discussions.
With Diana Clark, Andrea Fella. The fee is tiered — $830, $630 or $530 — plus dana (offerings) to the teachers. Check-in opens at 1 pm on the first day, and the retreat ends by 11 am on the last.
