Sound Circle with Graham Slick (Substitute for 3/27: David Miller)
Gather around the ‘campfire’ and join us for a unique weekly, cannabis-friendly sound bath medicine journey. This is an invitation to deepen your connection with yourself and the world around you. Together, we’ll experience the healing power of sound baths, breathwork, meditation, heartfelt conversations, and the cozy glow of a (faux) fire circle. If you’re ready to relax your mind, immerse in soothing vibrations, and build meaningful connections within a like-minded community, you are warmly welcomed.
This journey will be a bit different from traditional soundbath sessions. It includes group sharing, new meditation styles, new soundbath instruments, yoga nidra, incense, reiki, chanting or mantra, qigong, toning, singing, humming, pranayama, spirit leaf ritual, and who knows what else. All of this being explored and workshopped for future events.
During this 90-minute in-person session, you’ll be enveloped in the calming tones of instruments like crystal singing bowls, harmonium, handpan, gong, chimes, drums, and voice. The harmonious blend of sounds creates gentle vibrations that encourage relaxation, inner balance, and a sense of renewal.
A sound bath journey or nada yoga is a restorative practice that uses the healing power of sound and vibration to promote deep relaxation and stress relief. By engaging the parasympathetic nervous system, these soothing frequencies can help reduce anxiety, improve sleep, enhance mental clarity, foster spiritual connection, and support overall well-being.
What to Expect:
Part 1: Blessing & Spirit Leaf Ritual
We begin with grounding practices, an opening circle with a blessing to our space and smoke ritual. (Cannabis will be present)
Part 2: Incense Ceremony
A group sharing experience designed to shed unwanted energy with the help of incense.
Part 3: Soundbath
Experience a guided meditation with crystal singing bowls, harmonium, and contemporary sounds, followed by a cathartic release into the campfire.
Part 4: Meditation Sprint
Reset with calming breathwork and a quick focused meditation.
Part 5: Nada Yoga Nidra (Soundbath & Yoga Nidra)
Sink deeper into tranquility with sounds from crystal singing bowls, harmonium, chimes, misc instruments, and gentle hums & voice all layered overtop of a Yoga Nidra (aka Yogic Sleep).
Part 6: Integration & Farewell
Share experiences in a supportive circle, and conclude with a group farewell song.
Goodbye Song:
Goodbye, So long, Farewell my friend
Goodbye, So long, Farewell
We’ll see you soon again my friend
So, Goodbye, So long, Farewell.
